Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes’ age disparity illustrated in 2 incredible tweets

Patrick Mahomes represents the future of the NFL as the Kansas City Chiefs star won his second AFC championship in his third attempt on Sunday with a victory over the Buffalo Bills.

Mahomes will face old guard Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady. The six-time Super Bowl champion was just getting started when Mahomes got his feet wet at school.

Brady won his first Super Bowl in the 2001 season. The New England Patriots beat the St. Louis Rams in one of the biggest upheavals in NFL history at the time. Adam Vinatieri hit the winning basket and it was also the franchise’s first Super Bowl.

FOX Sports and The Athletic reporter Bruce Feldman noted during the AFC Championship that Mahomes and his counterpart Josh Allen were in kindergarten when Brady won his first title. Nineteen years later, Brady and Mahomes will face Super Bowl LV.

Another tweet also showed the age disparity between Brady and Mahomes.

Baseball Lover Christopher Kamka tweeted that Brady was drafted in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft by the Montreal Expos. It was the same year that Mahomes was born. Instead, Brady went to Michigan for four years before being drafted by the Patriots.

Brady is 43 and Mahomes is only 25.

Super Bowl LV could very well be a passing torch moment for Brady and Mahomes. The two players compete at a high level and being able to watch the two superstars compete against each other is going to be a spectacle.
