The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to collect superstars, adding another familiar name to their roster as they look to repeat themselves as Super Bowl champions in 2021.
Richard Sherman, a five-time All-Pro cornerback, signed a one-year contract with the Bucs on Wednesday, bolstering a promising but failed secondary that struggled in the first three weeks of the season.
After his first practice, Sherman admitted that Tom Brady’s presence and recruiting efforts had a significant impact on his decision to pick the Bucs over the other teams courting him.
Later Wednesday, Sherman took to social media to celebrate the fact that he and Brady will finally play on the same team after many tough battles as opponents in recent years:
Brady himself commented on the post, saying: “We’re much better together in the same colored jersey.”
Bucs fans couldn’t agree more.
