Michigan blood or not, you have to respect what Tom Brady did in the NFL and how he’s doing. Former Ohio State and current Washington defensive end Chase Young took the league by storm (as we knew he would) and was filmed talking about wanting Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a first-round playoff game. The Tampa Bay quarterback took note but didn’t say too much about it – after all, this isn’t his first rodeo.
Either way, be careful what you ask for. Young got his wish and Brady torched the Washington defense for 381 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-23 Bucs win to send Young and his teammates home for the year.
Subsequently, the two were caught in a midfield reunion where they exchanged pleasantries like fighters do after a fierce match. Young was not brash and asked for Brady’s jersey on his back to which Brady replied, “I’ll send it to you.”
Well, we’re here to report that Brady has kept his word. According to a Tweet from B / R Gridiron, Young received the signed jersey with “Chase, Best of luck”, and of course a “Go Blue” to top it off.
Michigan may have made the most of this showdown with Ohio State, but it’s worth mentioning that time is still running out for the Wolverines to move closer to the Buckeyes in a real live college game.
