Tom Brady sends heartfelt messages to Bill Belichick and Pats fans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady wants the New England Patriots to know there are no hard feelings. Brady sent heartfelt messages to fans of Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft and Patriots on Tuesday.

Brady’s messages come two days after the Buccaneers narrowly beat the Patriots in “Sunday Night Football”. It was the first time Brady had returned to New England after leaving the organization.

Brady included his posts in his Instagram Story, which means they are deleted after 24 hours. Brady said he appreciates Belichick, called Kraft “family” and thanked Patriots fans for their warm welcome.

Brady also sent messages of support to Patriots running back Brandon Bolden, cornerback Devin McCourty and special teams ace Matthew Slater. In one of the posts, Brady called Slater, “One of the best football players I’ve ever shared a locker room.”

Brady mostly downplayed his return to New England. In addition to telling his former teammates that he wanted to “kick their ass,” Brady remained silent before the game against his former team.

Brady missed a few early shots against the Patriots – perhaps because of nervousness – but managed to secure a 19-17 victory over his former team. After the game, Belichick and Brady got together and chatted for a while.

Brady has not revealed what they discussed, although posts on Tuesday indicate the two are on good terms.
