Tom Brady's initial reaction to Josh Gordon's conditional reinstatement | Patriots of New England

At the end of the joint training with the Titans of Tennessee, the quarterback of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady, was abandoned to wide and healthy receivers, Jakobi Meyers, Dontrelle Inman, Gunner Olszewski, Braxton Berrios, Ryan Davis and Damoun Patterson.

The only receiver of this group to have known the NFL, Dontrelle Inman, was cut Sunday. So, needless to say, Brady is happy to have reinstated the wide receiver Josh Gordon.

"It's obvious that everyone is eager to get it back and we're taking it on a daily basis," Brady told WEEI member Brady on Tuesday morning.

Brady stated that he had discovered that Gordon would be reinstated "at the same time as everyone else".

Brady and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, also invited Gordon to dinner with Brady.

"In general, I've had great relationships with a lot of guys – almost every guy I've played with," Brady said. "Relations go both ways. That's part of what makes a real healthy relationship. I've had a quarter-receiver relationship, whether with Julian (Edelman), Troy Brown, Wes (Welker) or Randy (Moss). We talk a lot. We communicate a lot and you want everyone you work with and play to be the best you can, and you try to support and strengthen the best possible way.

"It's different for everyone. Everyone comes from different places and I always try to do my best. This served our team well for a long time. Every player who comes wants to contribute and wants to do the right thing. I think our current team is made up of guys who have really worked hard, really put the team in the forefront and we want to go and perform well for our team and for our city, our fans and our family. I do not see anything different this year, other than that. "

Brady completed 40 of 68 passes for 720 yards with three touchdowns against Gordon in 11 games last season.
