The 59-year-old actor is currently in the UK for the filming of the latest Mission: Impossible – and his latest stint took him to Alison Webb’s garden in Warwickshire.
The family took advantage of the arrival of Hollywood royalty, after learning that an anonymous VIP needed a place to land due to the temporary closure of Coventry Airport.

Alison was told her field was needed for a helicopter to land for an “anonymous VIP who was late” as the nearby airport was temporarily closed.

In a BBC report, Alison revealed: “I thought it would be pretty cool for the kids to see the helicopter land in the garden.
‘He [Tom Cruise] basically came in and out and it was like “Wow”.
“He went straight to the kids to chat and then came over and banged our elbow and said thank you very much.”

The actor traveled to Newhall Street in the ‘city of a thousand trades’ where he spent two hours at Asha’s Indian restaurant, before leaving the staff a generous £ 60 tip.
