Tony Ferguson got his wish to fight again before the end of the year.
Ferguson, a former interim UFC lightweight champion, will meet Charles Oliveira on December 12 at UFC 256 in Las Vegas.

Oliveira (29-8 MMA, 17-8 UFC), meanwhile, is looking to extend a seven-game winning streak at 155 pounds – all of which came by stoppage. In her most recent fight last March, Oliveira subdued Kevin Lee by guillotine choke.
Ferguson and Oliveira, who joined the UFC in 2011 and 2010, respectively, have 27 fight night bonuses between the two and a total of 28 UFC finishes.
