Tony Romo was the favorite to win the American Century Championship for a reason.
One lap from the end, Romo increased his lead to nine points in Lake Tahoe, according to Stableford's modified scoring system used by the tournament. Romo shot a 70 Friday and again Saturday; the course has a par 72.
"I felt good at the end of the match and he sort of held out this week," said Romo. "Hitting the ball was really good, I missed some putts, but everyone will do it.You just have to be aggressive and, hopefully, enter a few.
