The Mustang Bullitt starts at $ 47,705, which is the maximum of any non-Shelby Mustang, and as such, Ford is likely making a decent profit on each one. According to a report this week, however, Ford has finished manufacturing the Mustang Bullitt.
New Mustang Mach 1 apparently is the planned replacement; the latest iteration of the Mustang Bullitt would have been dead for weeks.

Now, the Ford authority has confirmed with Mustang spokesman Berj Alexanian that the last Ford Mustang Bullitt rolled off the line at Ford Flat Rock’s assembly plant late last year.
The latest Ford Mustang Bullitt was produced for just two model years – 2019 and 2020 – but was revealed at the 2018 North American International Auto Show alongside one of the original 1968 movie cars.
When we see Bullitt’s return, everyone’s guessing, but maybe it will happen when the next-gen 2023 Ford Mustang S650 arrives, which would be in 2022.
My old boss drives the 2019 Mustang Bullitt once and quite loved; it always seemed like an expensive way to cosplay Steve McQueen, and maybe part of the reason he’s disappearing is that fewer and fewer people are interested in doing it. However, the Highland Green remains unmoved, as does the 480 horsepower of its 5.0-liter V8, as does the six-speed manual. Wait a few years and you can probably get one for half the new price.
