Tool's demo in 1991 now on Apple Music + other streaming platforms

Tool's demo in 1991, 72826, has officially arrived on Apple Music, Pandora, Google Play and YouTube, marking the band's first release on streaming services.

We know what you think – "But I've been listening to Tool's demo on YouTube for years." That's true, but these have been downloaded by unofficial fans as shown in the video of "Sober" at the bottom of the page.

Although Tool has an official Spotify profile at the beginning of this year, the historical demo has not yet been delivered to this platform at the time of publication. Nevertheless, it's a big step forward for one of the few remaining artists to have kept their catalog off streaming services for so long.

We are about six weeks away from the release of Tool's new album (August 30th) and we do not know anything about its title. This leaves studio releases not yet available in streaming – Opiate EP, Reflux, Imanima, Lateral and 10,000 days – and maybe the launch will continue with one outing a week leading to the new recording.

We do not know much about the upcoming release, although "Descending" and "Invincible" – two new songs played live by the band – are represented on the album. This is, of course, if Armageddon does not come first after the announcement that Justin Bieber is a Tool fan, which was right Maynard James Keenan.
