In this week's best articles: Pixel 3 owners still face problems six months later, Fossil Wear Wear devices are losing market share, Google is announcing more and more Android TV devices.

The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have been on the market for six months now and Google has resolved some of the issues faced by users at launch. That being said, Google's Pixel 3 product list do not have addressed is long enough to warrant a second look. Our Ben Schoon has put together the six biggest issues that Google Pixel 3 owners still face, six months after launch.

Every smartphone will have problems. It's a fact, but Google's Pixel line seems to misunderstand some basic problems and not correct them correctly for centuries. We still love these devices and a lot about the 9to5Google The team has personally purchased Pixel 3 devices. However, it's hard to ignore that, obviously, the quality assurance on the Pixel line is just not what it should be. It is also clear that things really have worst in some ways since the launch of the original pixel.

In smartwatch news, according to a new market research report, the Fossil Group, the largest player in the Wear OS sector, has shrunk as a percentage of its market share. At the same time, Huawei, a company that has already used Wear OS on its smartwatches, has seen a phenomenal increase in its market share through devices such as the Huawei Watch GT.

What's sad about this report is that Fossil, which is by far the biggest player in the Wear OS market, has grown from a 3.2% share of the market in 2018 to a mere 2.5% in the first quarter of 2019. Not only does Fossil manufacture the largest number of Wear OS watches, but they are also among the best currently available – Fossil Sport is a key example. This comes after a previous report revealed that Wear OS accounted for less than 10% of the total market.

Google's Senior Director of Product Management for Android TV commented on the state of Android TV in a recent interview, noting that the platform now has more than 5,000 apps. Apparently, Google is in talks with companies behind some of the major applications, such as Hulu, to try to improve these applications for Android TV users.

Finally, Google has confirmed the upcoming arrival of new Android TV hardware. Apparently, we can expect new announcements regarding the hardware "in the coming weeks" with the arrival of new peripherals in the autumn. This is good news, because the current hardware of the Android TV is aging, like the Nvidia Shield, or simply does not have a place on the market in the case of the JBL link bar.

The packaging of a OnePlus 7 Pro evaluation unit was filtered this week, which gave us an overview of two accessories yet to be confirmed. On the images, we see very clearly a redesign of the company's Bluetooth headset in the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 and, more interestingly, a OnePlus Warp Charge 30 car charger that promises to charge your phone to 30W.

The Android team quietly announced this week, via its bug tracker, that scrolling screen shots, a favorite addition to Samsung and Huawei phones, were not on the Android roadmap. To go even further, the company has qualified the application for "infeasible" functionality. The exact reasons for their decision are still unclear and it is particularly upsetting because it means that Pixel owners will probably never have support for scrolling screen captures.
