Tornado damages mobile homes in central Texas

CORSICANA, Texas (KWTX) – The Navarro County Emergency Management Office has said that what was initially considered a microburst that damaged several mobile homes has now been classified as a tornado.

Officials said the tornado struck at 10:55 a.m. on Wednesday.

The affected area is around 100 meters wide and 600 meters long, officials said.

The tornado damaged 13 mobile homes and destroyed several.

Several trees in the area were also broken.

At 3 p.m. Wednesday, no injuries had been reported.
