A series of powerful thunderstorms spawned tornadoes in the Mid-South on Saturday morning, cutting down trees, power lines and a number of structures.

In total, six tornadoes landed in Arkansas and Louisiana. The first confirmed tornado was shot near Keo, Arkansas at approximately 10:30 Pacific time. At least two wounded were reported.

Severe thunderstorms are expected to continue until the late afternoon on Saturday in parts of the Tennessee Valley, including Mississippi, northwestern Alabama, the western parts from Tennessee and Kentucky.
