Toy Story 4 faces a difficult battle: how do you follow Toy Story 3, one of the best suites ever made and a movie that seemed to be the perfect conclusion of the whole series? Pixar and director Josh Cooley have a lot to prove, but we know it very well – we do not like to bet against the people who did up, Inside Outside, and The world of Nemo.
/ Peter Sciretta and Ben Pearson were present at the CinemaCon 2019 in Las Vegas when Disney presented new images of Toy Story 4. Can it match the absurd summits of the previous movie in the series? We will take a look.
Disney has shown 17 minutes of Toy Story 4 footage, so we're not going to have as well in depth with describing every moment in the film. Instead, we will give you a brief overview of what has been shown and general impressions of Ben and Peter. spoilers opening scenes of the film are waiting for us.
The loss of Bo Peep
The film begins with a look back nine years ago. It's raining outside. RC Car is stuck outside and Woody, Slinky Dog, Bo Beep and the Barrel of Monkeys stretch to take him back to Andy's room. Woody and Bo Peep share one of their coquettish looks.
But soon, Woody will no longer have Bo Peep with whom to flirt. The lamp of Bo Peep is given by the sister of Andy, Molly. Although Andy tries to stop him, Molly insists that she is not to be kept. She does not need Bo Peep anymore, and it's as sad as it sounds. Bo is taken to a box. And Woody stays with Andy, who picks him up after being left in the rain.
However, Bo Peep is not worried about it. She understands that it's like that when you're a toy: "Children lose their toys every day. Sometimes they are left in the yard or put in the wrong box. She is rather pleased to have been given, which is why she is so cool in her life when Woody finds her in this antiques store since the trailer.
Woody and Bonnie are stressed
Nowadays, Bonnie plays with her toys shortly after the sincere closing scene of Toy Story 3. Original Signature of Randy Newman Toy Story The melody "You have a friend in me" plays during the opening credits because Bonnie has a good time.
We are then in Bonnie's closet. Woody gives one of his usual speeches to the rest of the group before coming to pick up the toys with which she wants to play today. Woody is rather disappointed not to be chosen, although Jessie and Bullseye are out for recess. This is the third time this week that he is not chosen, and he is visibly nervous, though he will not admit it. He even gets his first dust bunny!
But the toys are not going to be used for a good part of the day because Bonnie is about to leave for her first day of kindergarten. In fact, it's just the orientation. But Bonnie does not want to go. She cries and hides behind her bed but her parents reassure her that it will be fun. But Woody is not going to let her endure that alone. But toys are not allowed to go to school, as forbidden a doll called the mayor, a new character to which Woody still adapts. She reminds him that Bonnie is not Andy, no matter how much he wants her to be. This does not prevent him from sneaking into his backpack.
At school, Bonnie is shy and calm. The children do not seem interested in talking to him. It is a frightening experience that all children have felt at one time or another. A fool takes him the art supplies. Woody is not going to let her stay sad, though. He slips out of his bag and brings nearby artist materials so that she can distract herself.
That's how we get Forky, the makeshift toy panicked in trailers. Forky is wrapped in his bag and Woody is satisfied with the help that he has provided to Bonnie. Speaking to himself, he says, "We have all this problem at school. Wait, I can not believe I'm talking to a spork. But that's when one of Forky's eyes moves and suddenly he comes to life and scares Woody away.
This brings us to Forky's introduction into Bonnie's room. But Forky continues to panic. It continues to be called garbage because it is what it feels made. He always tries to find himself in the trash. But Woody makes a point of keeping him as sane as Bonnie clung to Forky to cope with the stress of school. That's why Forky needs to stay with the toys as they prepare for a quick road trip between kindergarten orientation and the first real day of school.
Ben and Peter were impressed by the Toy Story 4 images, and this comes from the state of mind to be skeptical that this sequel is necessary at all. Peter even said, "I think we've all been pretty skeptical and cynical about this sequel, but Pixar has it and we're asking for more."
Meanwhile, Ben appreciated Woody's state of mind in this sequel. The pictures presented really allowed us to put ourselves in Woody's head and tell him to live up to his plans. And that puts him in a place where he has to get used to being in a new place, just like Forky, who has to adapt to being a toy, or Bonnie finding how to engage with the school. It therefore seems that sincere lessons will be given to families, as Pixar has always done.

After years of being alone, Bo's adventurous spirit and life on the road contradict his delicate porcelain exterior.
