Since Toys "R" Us officially closed all its doors in 2018, it is difficult to find a replacement. As a new parent interested in trying products before making big purchases (especially seats such as car seats that you can not return after open), I found this considerable void. The good news is preparing, however.
According to CNBC, Toys "R" Us will be coming back under a new name, Tru Kids, and will open at the end of the year, probably before the end of the holiday season. Tru Kids is the parent company that owns the Toys "R" Us, Babies "R" Us and Geoffrey brands. There are not many details yet but hope the giraffe will come back too.
