Kate Kane will not let a man claim to have saved Gotham in the new CW series.
Kate Kane presents her own show after being featured at the DC / CW mega-crossover "Elseworlds" event last fall. With Ruby Rose, "Batwoman" will bring to television not only a female-directed superhero show, but the first to feature a lesbian hero (played by a gender-specific actor).
