Trailer, premiere date for Kevin James’ comedy ‘The Crew’

The comedy directed by Kevin James The crew will debut Feb. 15 on Netflix, the Monday following the 63rd edition of the Daytona 500. You can watch the trailer below.

James plays the role of NASCAR crew chief for the fictional Bobby Spencer Racing team. When the team owner resigns and hands the team over to his daughter Catherine (played by Jillian Mueller), James must protect himself and his crew from his attempts to modernize the team. Freddie Stroma, Sarah Stiles, Gary Anthony Williams and Dan Ahdoot are also on the bill; while Paris Berelc and Bruce McGill are the guest star.

In addition to playing in the series, James de King of queens renowned, is also an executive producer. Jeff Lowell (The Ranch, two and a half men, Spin City) serves as a writer, showrunner and executive producer. Andy Fickman (Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, playing with fire) directs all episodes and serves as executive producer. James, Jeff Sussman (The King of Queens, Paul Blart) and Todd Garner (Tag, Isn’t It Romantic, Mortal Kombat) are also executive producers. Matt Summers and Tim Clark are the executive producers of NASCAR.

Footage was filmed at the Michigan races this summer with Spire Motorsports fielding the No.74 Fake Steak car sponsored by the show’s fictional team, which will be featured on the show.
