SAINT ANTHONY – San Antonio is a foodie’s paradise when it comes to the wide range of options available to locals and tourists alike.

It’s no surprise, then, that San Antonio’s restaurant, The Moon’s Daughters, was named second in Business Jet Traveler’s “Top 5 Best Restaurants in Texas”.

“The Moon’s Daughters is a party place but chic, an establishment one would expect to see in Los Angeles,” the magazine said in the June 28 article.

Moon’s Daughters, located at the Thompson Hotel in downtown San Antonio, features Mediterranean-inspired cuisine by Executive Chef Robert Cantu.

Jet Traveler recommends the Lemon Butter Hazelnut Octopus, which takes days to prepare. They also suggest trying the make-your-own mezze plate, which has options like hummus, pickled olives, labneh, and roasted vegetables.

Food isn’t the only thing Jet Traveler says makes this place great. The restaurant is located on the roof of the hotel and offers guests the opportunity to have a breathtaking 360 degree view of the city.

The rooftop views are even more spectacular at night.

The restaurant is only open from Wednesday to Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to midnight. However, on Fridays and Saturdays, they remain open until 1 a.m.

Moon’s Daughters is only available to guests 21 years of age and older. Walk-ins are accepted at the restaurant, but reservations are strongly recommended to get a table.
