Travis Barker shares more of his seemingly wonderful relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, revealing that the oldest of the brood KarJenner apparently has the idea of ”destroying himself completely.”
Blink-182 drummer, 45, discussed meeting Kardashian, 41, on Drew Barrymore’s CBS talk show on Thursday, addressing the note – posted on his Instagram – that Kardashian left him who was reads: “For a lot of fun adventures.” May we destroy ourselves completely. Love, Kourtney.
Barrymore joked with Barker – who only spoke of Kardashian as his “lovely lady” – saying his version of the note would be “Can we go to bed early and watch a movie?”
“I would prefer the opposite. I’d rather, somehow, go [out] in the blazing glory and the ball of flame, ”Barker replied.
Barrymore also asked Barker how dating someone with children is different from his past relationships, to which he replied, “I was dating girls who had no children and I find it difficult because ‘they would have a hard time understanding like: you want to go to dinner every night with me? or “Why don’t you want to see me every night?”
“And now I’m spending time with a woman who’s a great mom, who’s a great friend and you don’t have to worry about any of those things,” he continued.
Barker shares two children with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler: his 17-year-old son, Landon, and his 15-year-old daughter, Alabama. He is also the stepfather of Moakler’s daughter with Oscar De La Hoya boxer Atiana, 21. Kardashian has three children with ex Scott Disick: Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6.
“I also really like to miss someone and cherish the time I spend with them instead of being with them every day, especially at the start of a relationship,” Barker added of his new relationship. “I think missing someone is so important.”
Barker and Kardashian went official on Instagram in February, days after spending Valentine’s Day together. Page Six confirmed that the couple, who had a long-standing friendship before consuming things, started dating in January.
