Travis Scott’s LA pop-up event under investigation

Travis ScottThe flash mob-type event on the streets of West Hollywood could cost him dearly – because city officials are taking a closer look to see if he broke pandemic regulations.

The Los Angeles Department of Public Works told TMZ … the city did not issue a permit for Travis’s pop-up rally on Tuesday at WeHo, as we are told the city frowned over COVID -19 – – especially for non-essential gatherings like this.

In light of this, we are told that Public Works plans to consult with the city attorney’s office on any possible actions they might want to take, including potential fines. Public Works pointed out to us that even though they issue citations for allowing violations … it was not certain that this would be done in this case.

As we reported … Travis assembled dozens of bodies in a newsstand, which he sported his Cactus Jack signage – all to announce the first issue of his “Utopia Issue” from iD Magazine. Limited editions were distributed to the masses.

You will remember … Travis was rung for something very similar not too long ago in the SoCal town of Downey, which ended up costing just a few hundred dollars – and McDonald’s covered tab for him.
