In his remarks, the head of state advised 296 athletes to show their best skills at the upcoming 2018 Asian Paralympic Games.
"Soon, ladies and gentlemen, you participated in an international competition at the Asian Paralympic Games of 2018. As the best sons and daughters of the country, I entrusted you, ladies and gentlemen, your duty to give the best of this country" the president said.
The President said he saw first-hand how Asian Games athletes from the Asian Games have been training to prepare for the event. He hopes that rigorous training will produce results that will make Indonesia proud on the world stage.
In addition, the President also reaffirmed the goal of Indonesia during this event. The 8th position and 16 gold are the expected targets.

For information, no less than 296 athletes from 18 Asian Sports Para Games, 40 coaches, 35 assistant coaches, 18 officials and 33 officials were officially released by President Joko Widodo this morning at the 2018 Para Asian Games.
