The FARA 83, or Galil, arrived with Black Ops Cold War Season 2, so here are the best accessories and perks to maximize its potential.
As part of the Season 2 update, the FARA 83 is the latest assault rifle to arrive in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, and can be unlocked at Battle Pass level 14.
This real-life weapon is modeled after the Israeli Galil, which some Call of Duty fans are familiar with. The FARA 83 is a nice throwback to the original Black Ops Galil, while offering something new.
With a fast rate of fire and manageable recoil, this new assault rifle is a solid choice whatever your playstyle. We’ve rounded up the best accessories and perks you can use with the FARA 83 in the multiplayer mode of Cold War.

This FARA 83 is built for accuracy and ranged damage, with a few attachments to increase its mobility as well. With this FARA 83, you will be able to provide excellent AR support to your team, but also get closer if the need arises.
The iron sights of the FARA 83 are quite intrusive, so we added the Microflex LED for easier target acquisition. Also, to allow you to spot enemies from further away, especially in the dark Miami, you need to add the Spotlight on Team Tiger which reveals enemies from further afield.
As this weapon is designed for range, the 18.1 inch indent the barrel is a solid choice. You will receive 150% more ranged damage, which means you will be able to take out distant enemies with just a few shots. To facilitate these long shots, we have added the Spetsnaz handle and Mouthful 5.56 for additional control of horizontal and vertical recoil.
However, these attachments will make the weapon slow and heavy, so to improve mobility you need to perform the KGB skeletal stock and GRU elastic band. Together, these will improve your ADS time, shot speed, and movement while aiming.
And finally, in order not to have to reload mid-fight, you must use the VDV 50 Rnd Fast Mag. You’ll have more bullets at your disposal and increased reload speed to boot.
You can use these eight attachments with the equipped Gunfighter Wildcard. If you prefer to use another Wildcard, you must remove the Barrel, Laser, and Stock attachments.
Best Benefits for the Cold War FARA 83
Advantage 1: tactical mask
While maintaining lines of sight with AR, a properly placed stun or flash grenade will leave you defenseless. With Tactical Mask equipped, Tactical Grenades will have no real effect on you.
Advantage 2: scavenger
Since the FARA 83 has a rapid rate of fire, you will quickly find yourself running out of ammo if you get a killstreak. To continue using your weapon without swapping it, Scavenger will allow you to resupply yourself from fallen players.
Benefit 3: Ghost
When playing Black Ops Cold War you want to be constantly unpredictable and on the move to keep enemies in your head.
If the opposing team spawns a spy plane, however, all hope of surprising enemies is gone. The Ghost Perk will hide you from spy planes while traveling, using a SnD Bomb, or using a Scorestreak.
