DALLAS (AP) – The second day of testimony in the trial for the murder of a Texas police officer charged with the shooting death of his neighbor began Tuesday with jurors hearing the frantic call from the police officer at 911 as a result of the shooting.

In the 911 call, Amber Guyger told a dispatcher that she shot Jean Botham because she thought she was in her own apartment. Prosecutors said Monday that Jean was sitting in his living room, eating a bowl of vanilla ice cream, when Guyger came into his home and shot him.

The recording of the 911 call had already been obtained by a Dallas TV channel. In the call, Guyger says "I thought it was my apartment" almost 20 times. She also says, "I'm going to lose my job" and "I'm going to need a supervisor".
