SAN JOSE, Calif .– Prosecutors and defense attorneys are due to make opening statements Wednesday in the highly anticipated criminal trial of Theranos Inc. founder Elizabeth Holmes, who faces federal charges for defrauding patients and investors with revolutionary blood testing technology claims.
