Trump administrator bars Biden transition team from meeting with Intel executives, report says

President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team has been barred from meeting with heads of US intelligence agencies after the Trump administration rejected numerous requests, The Washington Post reports. Current and former officials cited by Publish said Biden’s team had been barred from holding meetings with the National Security Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency and other intelligence agencies, leaving the transition team largely unaware of the operations of espionage in progress. Meeting requests were rejected by the Trump administration although the General Service administration paved the way for a smooth transition last month. Biden’s team was able to meet with the CIA and other agencies unrelated to the Pentagon. A Defense Department spokeswoman denied Team Biden’s accusation and said she would have access next week.
