The Trump administration announced this week that it would seek to ban all flavors of tobacco-free electronic cigarettes in the midst of a teenage vape outbreak and a series of deaths related to atmospheric lung disease. .

"We can not have our youth be so affected," Trump told reporters Wednesday. "People are dying of vaping, so we look at it very closely."

The Food and Drug Administration is working on compiling the final guidelines for implementing the ban, but the Secretary of Health and Social Services, Alex Azar, said it will take several weeks to to develop it.
