President Trump kicked off a retweet marathon on Wednesday, boosting his fast-paced supporters who opposed a firefighters union backing the Democratic candidate for 2020, Joe Biden.
The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) has approved Biden this week, just days after Biden announced its offer for 2020. It cites its past support, including for fair compensation, guaranteed remuneration overtime and employee rights.
THE MEDIA THAT REJECTED BIDEN SEE IT NOW BELOW THE BRIDGE
But when former secret service agent Dan Bongino, a Trump supporter and Fox News contributor, tweeted: "NO firefighters I know support Joe Biden for the president," Trump retweeted several users supporting this declaration.
"No, not me either. I do not vote for Joe, the madman. My support is behind @realDonaldTrump in 2020! Said a user who caught Trump's attention.
"Just the union leadership supports Biden. Members support Trump. This applies to most unions, "said another.
Trump has finally retweeted more than 50 followers in just a few minutes.
However, retweeting dozens of Twitter users is a risky game. A "supporter" who tweeted, "My husband, firefighter in New York for 15 years, will vote Trump 2020 until the end!" Changed his account name to "F — Donald Trump" after being retweeted by the White House – – and changed his profile picture to "Bernie [Sanders] 2020 "logo.
In addition to the many retweets, Trump also weighed in on the endorsement himself.
"I've done more for firefighters than this union will ever do and I get paid ZERO!", He said.
