Lawyers for the Trump Organization and Allen Weisselberg are scheduled to appear in a New York state courtroom on Monday, marking the first public court proceeding since the former president’s company and his chief financial officer were indicted earlier this summer.
In July, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office unveiled an indictment accusing Trump Organization CFO Weisselberg, 74, and his longtime employer of tax evasion and other crimes. The office of the New York attorney general, Letitia James, is working with the district attorney’s office on the case.
