Trump refuses to endorse Pence for presidential race in 2024

President Donald Trump refused Friday to endorse Vice President Mike Pence's presidency in 2024.

During an interview with "Fox & Friends" if Pence would have his "automatic endorsement", Trump tried to get around the issue.

"Well, that is – I like Mike, we run again, you talk for a long time, so you can not put me in that position," Trump said. "But I would certainly give him a very high regard. This is a really remarkable person.

Pence, the former governor of Indiana, has long played a respectful role vis-à-vis Trump, serving as a loyal reminder without however expressing his political ambitions.

Pence travels regularly across the country to sell the administration's program and served as the main source of funding for the Trump team.
