President Donald Trump on Wednesday rolled his eyes and said, "I am elected" while talking to reporters outside the White House of the ongoing trade war with China.
Trump said that life would be easier if he was not locked in the trade war with Beijing, but that someone should take it to China for unfair trade practices and that he was the person to whom he was addressing.
"This is not my trade war" Trump said, adding that one of his predecessors should have attacked China as he did.
"It's a trade war that should have happened a long time ago," Trump said.
"Someone had to do it," said the president. "I am elected."
This happened a few hours after Trump's tweet that Israeli Jews regarded him as the "king of Israel" and the "second coming of God."
