President Trump is expected to win North Carolina, one of the last two states that had not been summoned as the protracted vote count in the White House race continued.

The Associated Press screened Friday afternoon. Trump adds 15 electoral votes from North Carolina. This projection brings the total to 290 for Biden and 232 for Trump.

President Trump on Thursday criticized North Carolina for its delayed vote count.

“What’s taking so long in North Carolina?” Are they looking for more ballots to correct that one as well? he wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Georgia is still recomposing the votes.

Peach State began a manual recount of the vote count on Friday after Biden was led by a margin of just over 14,000. The tally could not have changed the election result, but the Georgian state Brad Raffensberger said he would ensure confidence in the state’s election results.

Fox News’ decision-making office organized the race in Biden on Saturday, after results in Pennsylvania and Nevada put him above the threshold of 270 electoral votes needed to win the White House.

The president continues to challenge the results, however, pending prosecution in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan and Georgia. The Trump team alleged massive electoral fraud – without providing any evidence – and that Republicans were not allowed to monitor the vote count. Trump on Thursday peddled an unfounded claim that the Dominion’s polling services had “cut” 2.7 million votes for him nationwide.

The General Service Administration (GSA) has yet to verify Biden’s victory, holding millions in bridging funds, preventing Biden employees from starting to assess the operations of federal agencies. Biden’s role in confidential intelligence briefings will also be on hold until the GSA intervenes.
