DALLAS (AP) – Supporters of President Donald Trump clashed with other passengers on an American Airlines plane bound for Washington after they projected a “Trump 2020” logo on the cabin ceiling and walls.
Trump supporters said a passenger threatened to kill them and there was screaming back and forth. A flight attendant intervened, telling a passenger in the aisle to sit down.

The incident occurred Tuesday night after American Flight 1291 from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport touched down at Dulles International Airport outside of Washington, DC, and was on its way to the boarding gate.
The scene was posted on Twitter by Maranie Staab, a freelance journalist based in Portland, Oregon, who claims on her website that she focuses on human rights and social justice issues.
“Our team is looking into this incident,” American Airlines spokesman Curtis Blessing said. “We congratulate our exceptional crew members for their professionalism in defusing a tense situation on board and getting our customers to their destinations safely.”
American said law enforcement was not called and the passengers disembarked and dispersed without further incident.
