Several of Trump’s supporters followed Graham as he walked around the airport with security guards.
“One day [you] will not be able to walk in the street. It’s today, ”shouted a woman who was not wearing a mask in violation of airport rules. She wore an “I love Trump” shirt with the letter “Q” on the back of the shirt, a likely reference to QAnon’s conspiracy theory.
Graham broke with Trump on Wednesday night, saying, “From my perspective, he’s been a consistent president. But today the first thing you will see. All I can say is count myself. Enough is enough. I tried to be helpful.
Kevin Bishop, a spokesperson for Graham, declined to comment, saying “we are not discussing security issues.”
