President Trump said he was “surprised” that “so many” Congressional Republicans believe President-elect Joe Biden won the election and demanded a list of those who thought so.
The Washington Post polled all 249 members of the Republican House and Senate, and on Saturday afternoon 27 people pledged to say Biden won the election. 220 others would not say who won; 70% did not respond to the Post’s request for comment.

The Post found that eight Republicans, 3% of all GOP lawmakers, vocally supported Trump’s current strategy of claiming victory and suing for fraud in the swing states he lost.

This week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., Avoided questions about Trump’s fraud allegations and declined to intervene.

Minority parliamentary leader Kevin McCarthy on Thursday avoided questions about how he would fight executive orders in the early days of his tenure.

But Kellyanne Conway, a former adviser to the president, has cast more doubt on Trump’s legal efforts.

Powell said residents of the state should not vote until Georgia revises its procedures and stops using Dominion voting machines.
