The insider first reported on the cards on Wednesday, noting that Trump’s America’s Safeguard PAC sent two emails about the red and gold cards, the first message being: “The card you select will be worn by Patriots across the country. ”

“They will be a sign of your staunch support for our movement to SAVE AMERICA, and I have complete confidence in you,” the email added.

The second email stated that the “official Trump cards” would be “only for the STRONGEST supporters of President Trump.”

“We recently met the president in his Florida office and showed him four models,” the email added. “We originally planned to release only one design, but when President Trump saw the cards on his desk, he said, ‘They are GORGEOUS. We should let the American people decide – they ALWAYS know the best! “”

The four designs include one with a gold bald eagle, another with the seal of the United States, and a third with an American flag in the background.

The fourth option has a solid red background and, like two of the other models, reads “Official Trump Card.”

However, the option with the flag has a spelling error: “Trump Offical Card”.

Each of the designs contains Trump’s signature, along with the Save America PAC logo and areas for the supporter name and ID number.

It was not immediately clear when the cards would be issued, although this only appears to be one of the team’s last fundraising tactics months after Trump left the Oval Office.

Late last month, the Trump PAC announced in an email that it was selling signed photos of Trump for $ 45 each.

The Hill has reached out to Trump’s team for comment.

Several of the ex-president’s critics, including anti-Trump group GOP The Lincoln Project, have taken to social media to poke fun at the cards, pointing out the spelling error.

Others criticized the cards, with many saying the bald eagle design resembled the Nazi eagle symbol first developed in the 1920s in Germany.

However, others, including lawyer Jenna Ellis, who was previously a member of Trump’s legal team to overturn the 2020 election results, have tweeted that the requirements to show proof of vaccination at certain businesses and restaurants were “1000% worse.
