President Donald Trump apparently had trouble sleeping last night. He has, as countless Americans, launched on Twitter to let off steam by attacking actress Bette Midler.
Earlier, Midler had apologized for spreading a false quote attributed to a young Trump.
I'm sorry; this quote turns out to be a fake since the years 15-16. I do not know what I missed, but it looks so much like him that I thought it was true! Checking the facts: Did Trump say in 1998 that Republicans are stupid? https://t.co/NY9s6V49el via @rgj

The retraction was not enough for Trump, who, taking a creative approach to quotation marks, fought back.
Psycho washed @BetteMidler was forced to apologize for a statement that she attributed to me and which turned out to be totally fabricated by her in order to give your "great president" a really bad air. She's caught, just like Fake News Media gets caught. A sick hustler!

Trump is still in the UK for his royal visit.
Midler answered with humor the alarm clock.
I would like to thank all those who came to my defense last night in my personal battle against the Ardennes with the one who should not be named. Your spirit and good nature have really raised my spirits; As a newly washed psychopath, I am very grateful for your thoughts and prayers.
