According to reports, Donald Trump is preparing a list of potential pardons that include notable names in the hip-hop sphere. According to Bloomberg, Trump is considering forgiving Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. If granted, the two rappers would receive pardons as part of Trump’s last full day in office – Jan.19.

In addition to Kodak and Weezy, Trump is also considering pardons for senior White House officials, family members, and possibly himself. These names include Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Senior Advisor Stephen Miller, Chief of Staff John McEntee and Director of Social Media Dan Scavino. Trump is also considering forgiving his daughter, Ivanka Trump, her husband, Jared Kushner, and his personal lawyer Rudy Guiliani.

While Trump forgiving notable rappers would be an excellent cap on absurd four years in power, the potential self-forgiveness could have long-lasting legal ramifications that are unforeseen at this time.
