Speculation abounded Sunday after President Trump was photographed with what appeared to be a new hairstyle during a surprise visit Sunday in a Virginia church.
Trump's smooth hair was a long way from his usual look, subject to mockery in the pages of the New Yorker and Saturday Night Live.
Some have assumed that it was simply a case of "hat hair", since Trump had just left the golf course. Others have speculated that the President's trip to the UK will be transformed in perspective this week.
The White House said Trump had gone to the church to visit the pastor and pray for the victims of the deadly Friday shootout in Virginia Beach.

The new hairstyle was short-lived. Trump spoke to reporters later in the day, wearing his usual hairstyle, before leaving for the UK.
