The Dolphins made another change to the quarterback.
Tua Tagovailoa was on the bench in the fourth quarter of today’s game, with the Dolphins edging the Broncos 20-10. Ryan Fitzpatrick has returned.
Tagovailoa had been sacked six times, but it was unclear if he was injured or if head coach Brian Flores just thought Fitzpatrick gave the Dolphins a better chance to come back and win. Tagovailoa awkwardly fell on his last bag, but he was standing on the sidelines without medical staff checking him.
By the time he was benched, Tagovailoa had completed 11 of 20 passes for just 83 yards and had lost 33 yards on his six sacks.
