Amazon and Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos returned safely to Earth after a brief launch into space, much to the chagrin of former MP Tulsi Gabbard.
Before Bezos took off on Tuesday morning, the former Democratic presidential hopeful tweeted that the richest man in the world should stay there rather than come back to join the rest of humanity.

“Bezos, please stay up there. Do the world a favor,” Gabbard said.
“The only problem I have with Bezos’ Blue Origin space rocket in space is that it’s going to come back,” she added.

Gabbard has criticized Bezos in the past. In 2019, she slammed him for not allowing Amazon workers to unionize, and called Amazon for declaring a large tax refund after supposedly making $ 11.2 billion in profits.
Bezos returned from his brief trip to space before 10 a.m. EST. He went with his brother Mark Bezos, aerospace pioneer Mercury 13, 82, Wally Funk and Oliver Daemen, 18. Blue Origin said prior to the flight that astronauts on board were to undergo 14-hour training over a 2-day period.

Lanius added that the training of the astronauts of the space flight company was fully Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) compliant conditions.
It was Blue Origin’s first manned space flight, days after Virgin Galactic sent billionaire founder Richard Branson into space.
