Fadıl Akgündüz, born in 1956 in Siirt, has often been on the agenda of his life. He was arrested on December 22, 2015 under the charge of fraudulent fraud following an open investigation on the grounds that he had not fulfilled his commitment to investors in Caprice projects Gold Bayrampaşa and Caprice Gold Maldives. Akgündüz was later released on 28 March 2017 while awaiting trial.
