The MIT Cheetah 3 robot has new capabilities. Without a camera, a 90-pound robot that can jump obstacles can perceive the surrounding area by touching it.
We have already seen the adorable SpotMini of Boston Dynamics coming out of the stairs. But he uses a SpotMini camera. The team behind Cheetah 3 wants him to move without seeing the road.
The Cheetah 3 can also perform commands without the need for a camera or external environmental sensors at the same time. Cheetah 3 also has new guessing algorithms that help change the hike to avoid falling

Boston Dynamics has added a new addition to its creepy robot work.

It is not known if SpotMini did all these operations spontaneously or remotely.
