Economists Participating in Finance The current account deficit survey forecasts a deficit of $ 1.49 billion in current account.

Funding from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) will be announced before 14 February of December 2018 regarding the balance of payments expectations data from the survey, it has given rise to the participation of 17 economists.

According to the survey, economists expect the December current account to open a deficit of $ 1.49 billion. Economists' forecasts of the current account deficit for the period in question ranged from $ 0.9 billion to $ 1.8 billion.

The average expectation of the current account deficit at the end of 2018 was $ 27.7 billion. The lowest expectations of economists surveyed for the current account deficit at the end of 2018 were $ 27 billion and the highest was $ 28 billion.

The average current account deficit of economists surveyed this year was $ 19.8 billion. Economists' estimates of the current account deficit at the end of 2019 were the highest forecast at $ 28 billion and the lowest at $ 5 billion.

In November 2018, the balance of payments account showed a surplus of $ 986 million, while the 12-month current account deficit amounted to $ 33,932 million.
