Coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia sent a brigade to Yemen to join the legitimate pro-government troops in Hudey, where the operation against Hussein was conducted.

Tribal military forces began to be phased in to Muha after three months of intensive training under the auspices of coalition forces, before 39 to be sent to Hudey.
No information was given on the number of soldiers in the brigade and no information on their nationality.
No official explanation was given by the coalition forces involved or by the Yemeni government.

The Hussein, who made a legitimate coup in Yemen, where long-standing political instability is experienced, controls the capital, Sana and some regions since September 2014. The coalition forces under the leadership of Saudi Arabia have been supporting the Yemeni government since March 2015.
