Facebook will remove its connection and support for Gallery, Calendar, and Briefing add-ons found on Samsung Android phones that ship between June 30, 2014. You will not be able to access Facebook data with these apps. Affected versions of the operating system include KitKat, Lollipop and Marshmallow. Affected phone models have been listed as Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Tab S.
This change means; the connection between local social apps from the old Samsung phones and Facebook will end on June 30th. If you want to access your Facebook gallery, calendar, or other information from the devices listed above, you must do so directly from Facebook or Facebook Lite, or from a web browser. Any data you downloaded before June 30th will still be accessible from these old applications, but no data exchange will be possible since this date will be disconnected from Facebook.
Samsung phones and tablets with Nougat and Oreo will not be affected by this change, it had already ended the compatibility with Facebook a few years ago. Users affected by the innovation will most likely be informed by an announcement from Samsung.
