"We want to be Turkey's Cancer Treatment Center"

Rector of Inonu University Dr. Ahmet Red Crescent, Turgut Ozal Medical Center planned to give a service next year with the completion of 217 beds in cancer treatment oncology hospital on the spot have said that they wanted to be the center of Turkey.

The hospital oncology, which is expected to open in the last quarter of 2019 at the Turgut Ozal Medical Center, which provides health care services to patients from different countries and in many fields, should to serve more national and foreign patients.

After the opening of the hospital, which will contribute to the development of health tourism in the city, it is planned to create an oncology institute within the hospital.

Inonu University Rector Dr. Kızılay said that more than half of the hospital's construction of 217 beds was completed and that the hospital would be put into operation as soon as possible.

Kizilay said they had built a major hospital to serve the city, the region and the country.

Patients in medical oncology, radiotherapy, hematology and bone marrow transplant patients will be treated and radioactive iodine treatment will be performed. Cancer patients will have intensive care units with standing chemotherapy units. The Oncology Hospital and the Oncology Institute are planning to establish themselves. The institute will be diagnosed and cancer patients will be treated from the diagnosis. Cancer research will also be done. Through research on cancer drugs, new methods of treating cancer will be explored.

Once the oncology hospital is completed, our patient treatment capacity will be multiplied by three. Our cancer center will make a great contribution to our city and our country. During the last quarter of 2019, our goal is to operate the hospital at full capacity. Turkey currently has service in cancer centers and hospitals, but perhaps we will become an important center of our country as the 3rd capacity when it opens. We are one of the greatest capacities in the hospital, but we want to take the first place in Turkey in the treatment of cancer.
