Turok comes back as a chibi style 2D game

Turok, a dinosaur hunter, returns to the game for the first time in over a decade with Turok: Escape from Lost Valley, a 2D game resembling Chibi. Lost Valley is a pretty isometric shooter game focused on mastering the knife and bow of Turok, rather than on a collection of macabre weapons. Sorry, it looks like you will not get your hands on Brain Ream in this one.

Traveling with your friend Andar, as Turok, you have to make your way through the lost valley infested with dinosaurs and find your way back. Along the way, you'll help the natives and fight the bosses with fun names like "Killer Honker", "Giant Bear" and "Long Neck Water Honker".

As reported by Eurogamer, the game comes from Universal Studios Interactive Entertainment and was created as part of the Universal Gamedev Challenge, in which independent developers competed to create games based on the game's IP portfolio. Universal. Turok: Escape from Lost Valley came in first, with the Voltron: Cubes of Olkarion strategy game. Both games will be available from July 25 and are currently listed on Steam. There is no word so far to know if it will be available on the consoles.
