Popular but controversial Twitch streamer Amouranth sees her channel banned from the streaming platform for the fifth time.
While the most popular Tic streamers are known for their video game content, Amouranth has built a following through ASMR, Just Chatting, IRL, and Hot Tub streams. And whether you like Loveanth’s content on Twitch or not, there’s no denying that she’s one of the most hard-working streamers on the platform, dedicating a significant number of hours each month. However, Amouranth is no stranger to controversy and has since suffered its fifth major ban from Twitch.
Amouranth has been banned from Twitch several times in the past for a variety of reasons. It’s unclear why Amouranth was banned from Twitch this last time, and it’s also unclear how long that will last. Twitch usually doesn’t disclose exactly why it’s banned from a given streamer’s audience, so if Amouranth knows, it will have to choose to share that information. Either way, this last ban is a little weird as it’s not unique to Twitch.
Not only was Amouranth banned on Twitch, she was also banned from Instagram and TikTok. Again, it’s unclear exactly what caused these bans as of this writing, but Amouranth reached out to Instagram on social media at least to try and get this particular account back.
As mentioned earlier, this is definitely not the first time Twitch has banned Amouranth. In the past, Amouranth has been banned for wardrobe malfunction, as well as participating in sexually suggestive ASMR feeds. Amouranth has always come back from those bans and her return often comes with a wave of new viewers, so it will be interesting to see if that happens with this latest ban.
Along with the Twitch bans, Amouranth also had to deal with issues like demonetizing her channel, which came after the controversy surrounding the hot tub streams. Twitch eventually allowed Amouranth to start making money from ads again, but drastically reduced the amount she could earn. According to Amouranth at the time, this earned her a tenth of the Twitch stream ads she previously earned.
Recently, a massive leak on Twitch revealed how much top streamers get paid. Amouranth’s earnings were part of the leak, revealing that at one point she managed to make a jaw-dropping $ 1.3 million from her Twitch streams. Needless to say, Amouranth relies heavily on Twitch to make money, and therefore banning her channel is certainly not going to be good for her results. You have to wonder how long this latest ban on Loveanth Twitch will last, or if it will be really permanent.
