After her shaggy boyfriend was dubbed "bin bin", New York representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez turned to social media to tout her new haircut.
New Democratic Congressman Bronx posted a video showing the handsome new look of Riley Roberts on people who shredded him for his appearance in Netflix's "Knock Down the House" documentary.
"Internet allowed Riley to get haircut after #KnockDownTheHouse," said 29-year-old Ocasio-Cortez, captioned in her Instagram narrative.
One can hear in the pictures watching Roberts, 29, saying, "You are superb! Ooooh, look at this form-up! "
Roberts' makeover was a response to criticisms of the hair and locks of hair he wore in the doc on the 2018 primary campaigns of four women Democrats, starring Ocasio-Cortez.
"Wait a minute … the AOC boyfriend looks like this?" tweeted a user.
Another person went so far as to call Roberts a "raccoon" in a tweet deleted since.
The dear AOC Democrat spoke to her appearance in a tweet Friday, claiming that her disgusted look was due to "18-hour-a-day months".
"We were so ready for the lumberjack life after 18 hours of work that neither of us had had a haircut for months."
