As promised in January by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, the company today deploys an even darker version of the dark mode of application. Previously, the dark theme of Twitter was rather a blue shade rather than black, which everyone did not seem to like. Now there is an optional parameter that makes the current dark mode darker.
To use the new feature, you will first visit the "Settings and Privacy" section of the Twitter app and click "View and Sound." From there, you can switch to "Dark Mode", which activates the current blue-black program. theme.
A second option, "Lights Out", is also proposed. If this box is checked, the dark mode drops the blue tones and turns black.

A change in the dark mode may seem like a minor adjustment, but the popularity of the dark modes has increased as the large phone screens became the norm, especially because they allowed to preserve the life of the battery on high-end OLED devices. Some people also think that the dark mode is only more pleasant for the eyes when the applications are used for long periods.
The theme of dark fashions has even been addressed in The Wall Street Journal, which advocates that dark themes become the norm not only for battery-related benefits, but also because they can help reduce dependency on devices and improve sleep.
Today, many applications support dark themes, including YouTube, Google, Medium, Reddit, Instapaper, Pocket, iBooks, Kindle, Google Maps, Waze and others. WhatsApp would also work on a dark mode, according to recent reports.
Dorsey first ad Twitter's plans for a new dark mode a few months ago, in response to a complaint from a customer who described Twitter's dark mode as "weird blue".
Twitter indicates that the new Lights Out mode is being deployed today. He also added an "automatic" dark mode based on time zones on iOS.
